Alaska Behavioral Health – Fairbanks

We serve children and adults who experience a wide range of mental health issues, including children who experience severe emotional disturbance and adults with severe mental illness, with or without co-occurring substance use.  Every day there are stories of children and adults getting better and overcoming the impact of mental illness on their lives. Recovery is possible.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 1-888-371-1309.  AKBH mental health professionals answer the 24/7 mental health crisis line for Fairbanks and the surrounding communities. Staff will assess the situation, engage in safety planning, link the caller to AKBH programs, and provide referrals to local resources.

We also accept crisis walk-ins at our clinic at 1423 Peger Road, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
