Division of Public Assistance – Medicaid & Denali KidCare
Medicaid provides health coverage and long-term care services for low-income Alaskans.  The Division of Public Assistance determines eligibility for this program.  DenaliCare and Denali KidCare are the same as Medicaid in the State of Alaska. Denali KidCare is for youth under the age of 19.

Division of Public Assistance – Chronic and Acute Medical Assistance
The CAMA program is a state funded program designed to help needy Alaskans who have specific illnesses get the medical care they need to manage those illnesses. It is a program primarily for people who do not qualify for Medicaid benefits, have very little income, and have inadequate or no health insurance.
