| Helping Alaska, formerly Love INC, was founded in Fairbanks, AK in 1985 and is committed to supporting individuals and families seeking assistance in their time of greatest need. Helping Alaska partners with local Christian churches and community organizations to provide resources, support, and guidance to residents of the Tanana Valley. Services include: |

| Heating Assistance Program (HAP) – Alaska Department of Health |
| The Heating Assistance Program assists households with income at or below 150% of the federal poverty income guidelines, who have a minimum of $200 in out-of-pocket heating costs per year and meet all other eligibility criteria. The benefit is a one-time payment to the household’s vendor, sent to the vendor, and applied to the customer’s account as a credit. It is open to homeowners and renters. |

| Tanana Chiefs Conference – Temporary Assistance |
| General assistance provided to people who are single or married that have no children and are enrolled or are eligible to enroll to a federally recognized Tribe. We provide temporary assistance to individuals through our Athabascan Self-Sufficiency Assistance Partnership Program (ASAP). The program provides temporary financial support to help with: shelter, utilities, food, clothing, and work supportive services. |
